Taa-daa!

…Or maybe they present the tiny little spigot.

But  I think you’ll agree, the air conditioner is more exciting.

(Note: I’m on hiatus and am re-posting some of last year’s photos in the meantime. Enjoy!)

  1. I comment on my own picture to say… I swear I’m not deliberately turning this into an Elephant themed blog. But when the world keeps throwing elephants at me… what am I supposed to do?

  2. Are elephants jumping out at you at every turn? I’ll have to look out for them. Are these topiary ones? They’re not cheap.

  3. Maybe they are taunting the little spigot with there rather ample trunks.

    • thought of you yesterday– There was an elephant baby born at the San Diego Wild animal park under the same circumstances of the one in Columbus! The baby came early and surprised everyone. their was a school kid sleepover in the park and during the night they heard elephant commotion and in the morning, saw the baby with the adults circled all around to protect it.

  4. I’m usually standing in the middle of the elephants, but I was busy. I’m standing in between them right now if you want to come take a picture.

    • You know, when I took that picture, I was thinking — “these elephants look like they should be presenting my friend Hunter.” I am relieved to know that this is exactly what they are for.

  5. I love this. As far as I’m concerned you can present all the elephants you want. I would never get tired of them.

  6. This photo is hilarious!!! What fun!!! I saw the thumbnail the other day but couldn’t pull it up…when I accessed your blog today, I had to back track to see what the photo was all about!!!

    • this is actually my favorite kind of photo; it’s not perfect… but it was one of those ones where I stepped around a corner and there is was. I only had a couple of seconds to snap and then continue on my way. A complete and happy surprise.
