    • That’s exactly the way I felt when I saw it on the sidewalk. Yay! And with all the sidewalk pictures I take, I realized I must look down a lot. What does that say about me?

  1. Bob was a very wise man who knew lots of ways to make every little thing FEEL all right!!

  2. I like this! I need it framed and hung in a prominent location!

  3. The squirrel community reveres Bob Marley and leaves offerings of oak leaves.

You were soooo close to my house! There are engravings like this on both sides of the street, I love finding them all and wish I’d been there when the new slabs were being cast.

  4. But was it Bob himself, or a kindred spirit of Bob, or a mere jokester, who inscribed this slab? And – would it matter?

    • That’s a good question… I can say that near the Bob Marley inscribed block, there is another block the references a date in, I think, April of… ’66? I can’t remember for sure. Bellis might know since clearly she lives near there!

My point being… Bob Marley was alive at the time, so you can never be sure if it was him or not… although Lindy points out that there’s a mistake in the quote… Hmmm.

Still– I think the sentiment is a good one!

  5. Awesome! I agree with KC about this– it needs to be framed and hung up!
