  3. My previous studio had large glass industrial windows. One of the panes with chicken wire embedded in it, had a crack. Caused by a bullet (I think). The crack was extremely similar to the line profile logo used by Hitchcock. I loved that it was next to my painting wall. Of course when we left, the landlord tried to charge me for it.

  4. I was sad to hear this morning about the death of Farley Granger, star of my favorite Hitchcock movie ever: Strangers on a Train.

    • He was great — and Strangers on a Train was such a fantastic movie. I really admire his choice of leaving movies, however, because he felt he didn’t know his craft well enough. That takes guts and conviction!
