Unexpected smile 2: The krylon project

Okay, it’s not really fair to call this an “Unexpected Smile.” In addition to the fact that this face is not smiling… it’s also not a total surprise like the previous Unexpected Smile that I posted a few weeks ago.

This little face is part of the Kosmic Krylon Garage, by Artist Kenny Scharf at the Pasadena Museum of Art.

Check out the link, it’s a great and fun art project hanging out in a parking garage.

But of all the fun, gigantic and colorful graffiti art that’s sprayed all over the walls… this is my favorite little piece.

Why? Because it’s hidden up high in an unobtrusive spot and you can only see it as you’re leaving the garage.

So– there. I guess it does qualify for “unexpected” after all.
